Second Saturday Art Event
February 13th, 2010
with the theme "Let's Go Tropical
-- Follow the Flamingos"

Most local galleries will be open until 6 or 7 pm and will be serving
tropical refreshments during a “progressive food tasting” from
gallery to gallery. Watch for the flamingos and follow where they walk!

             Come visit the 18 Artist-Owned galleries in Historic Downtown Salida, Colorado!  Most galleries feature show openings or artist receptions from 12 to 7 on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

             4 times a year we have a festive event on 2nd Saturday - December, "Deck the Walls" - February, "Let's Go Tropical" - May, "Starving Artists" - October, "Mountain Masquerade".

will celebrate with tropical punch and treats, and an "Art for Habitat" show. The gallery will donate 20% of original paintings and 15% of everything else sold
on Second Saturday to the Salida chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
